Puppy Application

This application is designed to help us get to know more about you and what kind of puppy would work well in your home! To be placed on our waitlist, please copy and paste these questions and answer them. Please email to merrygoldcorgis@gmail.com. If approved, more information will be sent to you about preparing for your puppy. Please keep in mind that this is not an order form, and while our goal is family friendly dogs, each puppy will have their own personality. While temperament and health are our number one priority, we are still breeding to improve the whole dog. Please note that we only accept applications with all of the questions answered. Do you understand and acknowledge that a pet puppy from merrygold corgis will come with a spay/neuter contract stating that you will not breed the puppy and you will spay/neuter once the puppy reaches 12 months of age. If you are looking for a show prospect (we do not sell "breeding rights") do you understand and acknowledge that your merrygold puppy will be on co-own with the breeder and will come with a contract that the puppy must finish their AKC CH title in conformation, pass OFA hips and eyes before breeding. A copy of the contract can be sent upon request. If interested in a show prospect please tell us about your program.

Our pet puppies are priced at $1500 regardless of gender or color. All show prospects are $2500. Ethical preservation breeding does have added expenses, including genetic testing, OFA hip and elbow x-rays, OFA eye certifications, puppy eye exams before going home, and using quality studs to improve our lines. As breeders, our biggest goal is to find GREAT homes so that we can continue our work on our lines. We do occasionally have older puppies or retired adults available at a discount(remember any puppies held and grown up here were fist pick of their littermates, not leftovers)

Do you understand that corgis shed year round and blow coat twice a year? Regular combing and baths will help, but shedding will happen!

Do you understand, if for any reason you are no longer able to keep the puppy, you are REQUIRED to return them to us, along with their registration and health papers, no refund in exchange.
